ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Marien Fournier was born and raised in a little Canadian village, near the Appalachian mountain range. And very soon in his life, he exhibited a great deal of interest for all sciences and particularly electrodynamics. While in his teens, it was the end of the moon race and the beginning of the computer revolution. He learned electronics and specialized in instrumentation and control of industrial process. He worked in that field for many years.. With the advent of the popularity of the personal computer, he found his true calling in computer science and became a computer technician and IT consultant.
But in all those years, science never left him…and for the better part of his life, he decided to do some research (theory and practice) of his own in many technological fields, particularly in alternate energy systems. One of the best source of information that can be trusted for study and research is patents. It is probably the best way to find accurate data about practical designs and systems. And with time, he has built a very imposing patents database.
One of his great strength is that he is more of a generalist than a specialist. This allows him to understand and combine many sciences and technologies as any engineered systems is never based solely on only one of them.
With the advent of the eBooks and the outstanding possibilities they offer, it became clear that it will be much easier to make the fruit of his work published. Tesla's Patents is his first book, but hopefully, not the last. He is already at work to create a second one…
